The GIS Biostep is a group made up of scientists, Irstea experts and water treatment professionals, meeting 3 to 4 times a year in the form of a meeting to exchange information and share experiences, on themes chosen jointly.
These meetings give rise to collective publications in free access on the dedicated website.
There is, for example, a document detailing the origins and solution of biological dysfunctions in treatment plants (produced in partnership with Cemagref), or a report relating to the effect of chlorides on the biological functioning of a treatment plant.
